Cichlid Chemistry

For best results, start with water prepared by reverse osmosis. If using tap water, dechlorinate and measure TDS (total dissolved solids) or GH (general hardness). Using this product, adjust water hardness to the desired value for the type of fish you are keeping. A good rule of thumb, dissolve in water 1 to 4 teaspoons (6 to 24 grams) of KENT Marine Cichlid Chemistry in a separate clean container. Add this to each 10 gallons of aquarium water at initial tank setup or when performing water changes.

When replacing water due to evaporation use plain R/O water or dechlorinated tap water (no Cichlid Chemistry added) as dissolved solids do not evaporate.

For best results use KENT Marine Cichlid Chemistry in combination with KENT Marine Cichlid Essentials and KENT Marine Cichlid Buffer.
